They specialize in custom garden design, installation, and ongoing maintenance—working with clients' soil conditions, light patterns, and plant health rather than treating every yard the same. You'd work as a gardener or design installer on a consistent schedule, often returning to the same properties and clients. The team is small enough that you're not a number, but established enough to have steady work. You'll learn real horticulture—soil testing, plant selection, seasonal care—and have the autonomy to make decisions about how to approach each garden. Landscape Design/Build & Horticulture Foreman

📍 Ann Arbor , MI

Pay: $26–$33/hr (paid weekly) Schedule: Full-Time | Four 10-hour days (approx. 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Location: North Ann Arbor, MI Perks: Health insurance | PTO | Paid training mornings | Professional gear provided This role is ideal for experienced professionals who have led landscape installation, horticulture, gardening, or design/build crews and want to build exceptional residential gardens and outdoor spaces. This is not a production landscaping company. We specialize in detailed residential gardens where plant knowledge, craftsmanship, and attention to detail matter. We focus on craftsmanship, horticultural excellence, teamwork, and creating outdoor spaces that thrive for years to come. What You'll Do • Lead a crew on high-end residential landscape and garden installation projects • Execute planting, grading, drainage, landscape construction, and specialty garden work • Manage daily jobsite workflow, materials, equipment, and quality standards • Work hands-on alongside your team in the field • Mentor crew members and share horticultural knowledge • Solve on-site challenges and maintain project momentum • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards Requirements • 3+ years of experience in landscape installation, design/build, professional gardening, horticulture, or landscape construction • Prior crew leadership experience preferred • Strong knowledge of plants, landscape installation, grading, and outdoor construction • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors full-time • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Background check and drug test required • Chauffeur's License or DOT Medical Card is a plus Schedule • Four 10-hour days per week (approx. 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM) • Seasonal work with flexible winter hours Apply Now If you're looking for a leadership role where craftsmanship, horticulture, and quality truly matter, we'd love to meet you.
